The Patriots have officially extended an exclusive rights free agent tender to defensive tackle Kyle Love, per a league source. Love, the only exclusive rights free agent on the New England roster, would receive a base salary of $540,000 for 2012, presuming he signs the offer. Love, 25, just completed his second year with the Patriots -- the Mississippi State product finished the 2011 season with 13 starts, 33 tackles (20 solo) and three sacks.
